When I was a little girl, every year on my birthday I would see houses all up and down my street with their flags flying, and I thought, ‘How nice of everyone to put the flags out for my birthday!’

Then one year my dad gently explained, “They aren’t putting the flags out for you, Stephanie. It’s Flag Day.”

I was devastated at the time. But if I’m honest, a little part of me still likes to think the flags are out for my birthday every year.

That childhood memory, along with Independence Day just around the corner, inspired my newest colorway, Dawn’s Early Light.

I hope this colorway brings you a little of the same joy it brings me.
